Things are rolling along quite nicely, thank you. We had a big week last week. Haley Bonar was here and we had a packed house waiting for her. She gave us a good interview and we learned a lot about her.
Thunderbirds are Now rocked our house. They even brought out the over-sized beanbag chair from the green room to use as a stage prop. Everybody had large amounts of fun. Photos are forth-coming.
The Making Music series had a great start this fall with ain interview with Rob Skoro. This week, come on by to see Haley Bonar. She's going to give an interview, play the piano, and play the guitar a little, too. You can pose questions and listen to clips from previous shows here: http://www.coffman.umn.edu/whole/themes/makingmusic.php
We are in full swing with the semester, and every week features different shows. Lots of our shows are free and the ones that aren't are worth the price of admission.

As usual, we've got some great shows coming up. Lots of our shows are free and the ones that aren't are worth the price of admission.
Lots of fun has ensued over the past week: Pretty Girls Make Graves rocked the house, Mike Lewis and JT Bates made some beautiful music to an inspired crowd, and Brother + Sister set off our fire alarm. (I've still got a piece of their hard candy guitar on my desk. Come by to check it out, but I would not suggest a taste...)
We're going to keep this one brief because the calendar is bursting with events. We've got some great shows coming up and we're looking forward to seeing you here. Lots of our shows are free and the ones that aren't are worth the price of admission.
Coming up right around the corner are two amazing electronic music groups (the awesome Tarlton paired with the intense Cepia), a secret pre-Franz Ferdinand concert with Pretty Girls Make Graves and Clair De Lune (get your tickets early at the Coffman Info desk. It's going to sell
